Christmas

We had a nice and relaxing Christmas at home.  Christmas Eve we packed up the kids and went to Seaport Village.  We almost didn't make it.  Something happened on the 5 that caused traffic to slow down to about 5 mph for several miles.  While we were bumper to bumper, Coulson started to scream bloody murder and nothing would make him stop...then I looked over to a VW van in the far left lane and saw a man drinking beer while he was driving.  I called 911 and reported him.  After what seemed like an eternity, we made it to Seaport Village and had nice walk and  rode the carousel.

Eliza didn't like the moving horse so we ended up in the carriage.  She was a little concerned about it all but she kept saying "horsey" and "wee" and "pretty" so I think she liked it in the end.
We also fed some ducks.  "Quack, quack."

Christmas morning we woke to lots of presents and cinnamon rolls.  Everyone was so generous!  We had a fun morning opening and playing with all the wonderful gifts.

Couslon's cousin gave him the perfect onesie. He is a big deal!

And Eliza got a trike from Santa!

She also got this adorable dolly from her cousin Kate.  She affectionately calls her "baby".
It was a quiet and fun Christmas with just our little family.  My heart is full of love for each of them.  Merry Christmas!
