Friends came to visit...
We went to the zoo and had a fun time.
We headed to Arizona to be with Cody's family for Christmas.....this may the first time our car has seen frost. This is as close as we got to a white Christmas.
Eliza loves her Grandma and Grandad and would much prefer to live with them than us. Look what Grandma lets her do! She loved every minute of it.
After all the siblings and cousins left we took a day-trip to the Grand Canyon. It was AWESOME. The kids slept the whole way there so they were happy for our little hike around the rim. It was very cold with a good chilly breeze but the air was clear and the sun was shining. It was a perfect day to enjoy God's marvelous creations.
We enjoyed refuge from the cold wind in this neat lookout/museum/gift shop. And then we played in the snow before retreating to the warmth of our car as the sun was setting.
