Christmas 2011 part 2

I just found some pictures my very good friend Janny left on my computer for me.  So here are some more pictures of our pre-Christmas adventures with Janny and Brian.

 

She has a fancy camera and is very talented so I am going to post her awesome pictures for all to see....

We got to the tiger enclosure just in time for the keeper talk.  The mama tiger and her two cubs were purring for some meat so the keeper threw in some big hunks of ground beef.  It was fun to watch them jump for it and hear them chuff and snarl.

The lions are always impressive.  As we were leaving the male got up on his rock and let out a big roar to let everyone know this was his territory.  It was quite intimidating.

 

 The next day we went to Point Loma to see the tide pools, light house and to hopefully spot a whale or two.  Guess what?!  We saw 5 whales!  It was pretty exciting for me.

It was a beautiful day and we were all loving the tide pools, but Coulson was being extremely difficult that morning...he didn't want down in the sand and he did NOT want to be held...arg.

 We tried to get some unwilling crabs to race:
