Eliza turned 6!
Watching her cupcakes bake.
We finally got to have her party the next Saturday. We have been planning this party for months, we were so excited about it. We had a mother-daughter tea party in a park by our old apt. It was so fun!
We had peppermint and apple cinnamon spice tea with cucumber sandwiches, scones with creme fraiche and lemon curd or jam, lemon tart, berry tart, strawberries and macaroons. So delightful! It seemed like everyone really enjoyed it.
I love that everyone dressed the part!!!
After tea the girls drew portraits of each other and then eveyone painted a tiny picture of flowers to go in a tiny frame.
Then we played croquet.
The moms helped the girls.
Then the girls just had fun with it.
Eliza opened her presents and received some very sweet and thoughtful gifts!
It was such a fun afternoon, we want to do it again! I am so glad we have gotten to know such wonderful people here.
