Lately....

This is Eliza right before church. Sundays are the best because I get to doll her up. It reminds me of my childhood when I constantly dressed up my dolls in cute dresses. And yes, that's a double bow courtesy of Aunt Julie.

We got to go to a Padres games! It was the Mets versus the Padres. I don't know much about baseball but this game was super exciting in the last inning. It was a walk-off grand slam. I'll let Cody explain the coolness of the game... And afterward there was an amazing fireworks show. It was a great night! It was a great game: In the first inning the Mets scored two runs but then no other runs were scored by either team until the eighth inning when the Padres scored one run, then the score was 2-1 Mets. In the ninth inning with a man on first a Padre player hit a triple scoring another run, the score was then 2-2 and the Padres had a player on 3rd base and no outs. The Mets then walked the next two players and the bases were loaded. Up to plate came the Padres rookie shortstop. He worked the count to 3-2, and he knew the next pitch was going to be a strike. He connected and hit a walk off grand slam homerun!! It was very exciting, but you probably had to be there to really appreciate the moment.
