Pacific Coast Odyssey Part 4- Family Reunion

Monday we drove from Kennewick to a Church owned camp called Ensign Ranch where our family reunion was to be held.  

Tuesday morning we hiked through a tunnel.  Snoqualmie tunnel is a 2.3 mile long abandoned railroad tunnel that goes through Snoqualmie Pass.  It was completely dark in the tunnel so we all brought headlamps and flashlights.

At the opening, getting ready to go in the tunnel.

On the other side... some cousins found their way to the top.

While other cousins were more concerned with finding a frog and other wildlife.

We had lunch...

Kept looking for wildlife..

And finally caught a water beetle!

Back through to the other side...  And Eliza found another frog.

Later in the afternoon we went down the slip and slide.  It was a blast.

 I love how Kimbal is just relaxing on the tube...

Both Eliza and Coulson with Daddy...

 Eliza wasn't too sure about it...

She loves Kate and went down with her once.

There were a few wipeouts.  Coulson went down by himself and was standing by his tube waiting for Cody to come down....Cody tried to avoid hitting him but couldn't steer himself away and slammed right into Coulson.

 Poor thing was flattened.

 A good bump on the head but he was ok.

Pure joy!

That night we had a delicious spaghetti dinner!
